Albabtain Academy

          Albabtain Academy commenced its activities in January 2017 by conducting training courses in poetic creativity in Kuwait, starting with the first course for young talents from January 19th to February 2nd, 2017. Subsequently, the first course for youth was held from March 1st to March 22nd, 2017. The participants represented diverse nationalities, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Senegal, Indonesia, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, and Jordan.

          In October 2017, Albabtain Academy launched the "Diploma in Poetic Creativity" in collaboration with the International Academy of Poetry in Verona, Italy.

          The program has been conducted in multiple seasons:

Season 1: 2017 - 2018

Season 2: 2018 - 2019

Season 3: 2019 - 2020

          Additionally, the Academy organized special courses to teach Arabic language to non-Arabic speaking members of foreign diplomatic missions residing in Kuwait. The first course began on October 1, 2017, and continued until May 2018, with the participation of 130 diplomats from over thirty foreign embassies in Kuwait. The second course was conducted from October 2018 to May 2019, and the third course started in December 2019 and will continue until March 2020.

 

 

 

 

Diploma in Poetic Creativity

          The Diploma in Poetic Creativity is held in collaboration between Albabtain Academy and the International Academy of Poetry in Verona, Italy. The diploma program includes the following subjects: grammar, morphology, and spelling; rhetoric; language jurisprudence; prosody and rhyme; literary criticism; analysis of poetic texts; and the art of poetic delivery.

          The diploma program takes place annually from October to the end of April and consists of two levels: Level 1 and Level 2.

          Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a certified training diploma from Albabtain Academy and the International Academy of Poetry in Verona. This diploma is awarded to students who have attended the classes of both levels and have passed the examinations according to the specified criteria and conditions.
