The Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education of the Republic of Somalia, Abdul Tahir Osman, visited Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation and met with its Secretary-General, Abdulrahman Khaled Albabtain. During the meeting, they discussed various cultural topics and potential collaborations in this field.

         The Minister expressed the significance of the cultural role undertaken by the Chairman of the Foundation, Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, and the activities carried out by the Foundation in this domain. Notably, the Foundation is engaged in diverse activities at the University of Mogadishu and sends Somali students on academic missions to Al-Azhar University in Egypt.

         On his part, the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Abdulrahman Khaled Albabtain, emphasized the Chairman’s interest in maintaining cultural ties with the Republic of Somalia. He highlighted the Foundation's strong commitment to this matter, particularly in regard to the Arabic language.

         Afterward, the minister visited Albabtain Central Library for Arab Poetry, where he took a tour through its corridors and examined the collections. He praised the contents before concluding his visit.
