Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation announces the names of the poets participating in the Arab Poetry Spring Festival

         Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation has set the 25th of March as the date for the commencement of the 11th Arab Poetry Spring Festival. The festival will run for three days at Albabtain Central Library for Arab Poetry, under the esteemed patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

         The Secretary-General of the Foundation, Abdulrahman Khaled Albabtain, announced that the Chairman of the Foundation, the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, has invited a constellation of poets from Kuwait and various other Arab countries to participate in the poetry evenings honoring the festival's honorees, Dr. Suad Al-Sabah and Dr. Thuraya Al-Urayyedh. The participating poets include Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, Abdulrahman Al-Najjar, Abdullah Al-Failakawi, Mohammed Al-Mutairi, Mowdhi Rahhal, and Mishal Al-Harbi from Kuwait. Representing Egypt is Ahmed Mustafa Anter, while Syria is represented by Marwa Halawa, Areej Rashid, and Mohannad Al-Mash'al. From Saudi Arabia, there is Abdullatif bin Yousuf, from Morocco, Omar Al-Raji, from Jordan, Rabe'a Al-Moumani, and from Senegal, Abdulaziz Loh.

         Additionally, two seminars will be held about the two honored poets, Dr. Suad Al-Sabah and Dr. Thuraya Al-Urayyedh, with further details to be announced soon. These seminars will feature studies and testimonials about the poets, presented by literary scholars and academics. Furthermore, the Foundation will publish twenty publications, including critical books, poetry studies, translations, and poetry collections.

         The invitation is extended to the general public and all those interested to attend this festival.
