September 16, 2024

The Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation has announced, in an official statement, the launch of a new specialised course in "Grammar and Morphology Skills." This initiative is part of the Foundation's efforts to promote Arabic language education and strengthen its principles among native speakers and those interested in learning it.

The statement clarified that 120 students have enrolled in the course out of a total of 657 applicants. The course is set to begin on Monday, 16th September 2024, at the auditorium of the Albabtain Central Library for Arabic Poetry, with a total of 20 training hours spread over ten days, at a rate of two hours per day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The sessions will be conducted by Dr Ahmed Al-Rasheedi. This course is part of the free programmes that the Foundation has consistently organised in various parts of the world.

Saud Abdulaziz Albabtain, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, stated: "Through this programme, we aim to equip participants with a thorough understanding of both fundamental and advanced grammar and morphology rules of the Arabic language. This knowledge will serve to refine their writing and expressive skills, as the Arabic language forms the bedrock of our cultural identity. Additionally, enhancing grammar and morphology abilities fortifies an individual's capacity to communicate with clarity and precision, whether in writing or verbally."

Albabtain highlighted that the course presents a unique opportunity for all those interested in enhancing their language skills, whether they are students, educators, or individuals seeking to deepen their knowledge of the Arabic language. He reaffirmed the Foundation's dedication to promoting continuous education and learning of the Arabic language, emphasising that this course represents an additional step towards realising this objective.

Albabtain commended the significant number of enrolees, noting that within just two weeks of opening registration, the number of applicants surpassed 657.

He concluded his statement by encouraging individuals to seize this educational opportunity, emphasising the vital role of cultural institutions in fostering interest in the Arabic language and preserving its rich linguistic heritage.
