Dr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, the Chairman of Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, received the members of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Association for the Arabic Language in his office at Albabtain Central Library for Arabic Poetry. This meeting was held with the intention of inviting Dr. Albabtain to assume the honorary presidency of the association. This invitation comes in recognition of his significant stature within the cultural and literary circles in Kuwait and the Arab world. It also acknowledges his role in nurturing poetic creativity, particularly, and promoting cultural activities in general.

Albabtain expressed his delight at the establishment of the association and advised that dedicated effort be invested with sincerity in service to the Arabic language. He emphasized that the Arabic language deserves the utmost dedication from its offspring in order to elevate it and protect it from the influences of external cultures.

Albabtain graciously accepted the honorary presidency of the Kuwaiti Association for the Arabic Language. He pledged to support the association through all the publications of his Foundation and promised to provide a copy of the Albabtain Encyclopaedia for Contemporary Arab Poets to the association. He invoked the blessings of God for the success of the association and its board of directors in achieving their objectives. He also assured his commitment to be a supportive figure in everything that benefits the Arabic language, aiming to elevate it within our cherished homeland, Kuwait.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Amal Al-Awaad, the President of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Association for the Arabic Language, Dr. Eid Al-Zifiri, the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Tariq Al-Anzi, the Secretary-General of the Association, Ahmed Al-Harbey, a member of the Board of Directors, and the head of the association's cultural committee.
