His Excellency President Ilir Meta, the President of the Republic of Albania, hosted a grand ceremony to honor a prominent figure in Kuwaiti and Arab culture, a man devoted to promoting just peace; the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, Chairman of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation. During the event, His Excellency bestowed upon him the "Order of the Albanian National Flag," which is the highest honor of merit in Albania. This recognition reflects the appreciation for the efforts exerted by Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain in disseminating Arab culture and promoting the culture of just peace worldwide.

The ceremony was attended by a constellation of dignitaries, including several ambassadors from Arab countries and representatives of diplomatic missions to the Republic of Albania. Among those present were His Excellency Ambassador Ali bin Hamad Al-Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar; Her Excellency Ambassador Hanaa Oun Al-Shawwa, Ambassador of the State of Palestine; His Excellency Ambassador Mouhammad Moustafa Haider, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt; His Excellency Ambassador Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; His Excellency Al-Hammaali Khalifa, Charge d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Albania; His Excellency Nabeus Reda, Charge d'Affaires of the Algerian Embassy in the Republic of Albania; and Mr. Khaled Al-Shammi, Charge d'Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Republic of Albania.

In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency the Albanian President expressed his delight in awarding the Order of the Albanian Republic to the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain. He conveyed his deep appreciation for the efforts, activities, and initiatives undertaken by Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain in promoting the culture of just peace. This is evident through his commitment to education, forums, and his repeated calls for dialogue, renunciation of violence, and the pursuit of a peaceful approach to safeguarding the future of the future generations.

His Excellency the Albanian President stated "This is precisely what the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain has done and continues to do, with exemplary dedication, through the successful establishment and leadership of the Albabtain Cultural Foundation, which he founded in 1989. The Foundation focuses on teaching the language of culture, promoting it, as well as poetry, dialogue, communication, social development, recognizing civilization, culture, history, and traditions of Arab nations worldwide, and enhancing them, and vice versa."

He added, "Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain is not only a respected Kuwaiti businessman but also belongs to a very friendly country. We have excellent relations with him, and we have a sincere desire to enhance them. Moreover, he is a great poet, and I am eagerly looking forward to seeing his works translated into the Albanian language."

On his part, poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain expressed his happiness and sincere gratitude to President Ilir Meta for this recognition and the award, stating, "This Order is an honor for the State of Kuwait, Arab culture, and intellectuals wherever they may be. I will always remain committed to the noble goal of drying up the sources of injustice and achieving a just and sustainable peace."
