The Second World Forum for the Culture of Just Peace has begun its proceedings in Malta.

The Second World Forum for the Culture of Just Peace has just commenced in Malta. The event is organized by the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the President of Malta, Dr. George Vella, with the theme "Leadership for Just Peace."
The opening included speeches by President George Vella, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, the head of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, as well as pre-written remarks from the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and a pre-recorded video message from the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Abdullah Shahid.
The forum aims to take a step forward in exploring and establishing institutional mechanisms, educational programs, tools, and action plans for developing leadership competencies to achieve the comprehensive and ultimate goal of "just peace" and sustainable stability for nations.
The forum is scheduled to span two days during which participants will discuss how to prepare genuinely effective leadership that collaborates to construct a multi-level and multi-functional "Global Platform for Just Peace."
The forum's proceedings are organized into three sessions: Session 1: Role of World Leaders, Session 2: Role of International Governmental Organizations, and Session 3: Role of Parliamentarians and Civil Society Organizations.
