Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, the President of the Board of Trustees of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, stated that the Foundation intends to hold the 2nd World Forum for the Culture of Just Peace on March 3-4, 2022, in Malta, under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the President of Malta, Dr. George Vella. This Forum aims to take a practical step forward in exploring institutional mechanisms, designing educational programs, tools, and action plans to develop leadership competencies, with the ultimate goal of achieving "just and sustainable peace" for the stability of societies.

Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain further highlighted that the Forum's objectives will be outlined in a program that includes presentations from ministers and experts hosted by the Foundation from various parts of the world. They will discuss how the international community can develop governance tools, implement joint plans and initiatives, within a collaborative framework aimed at shaping the "Leadership for Just Peace" project. This initiative aims to motivate all stakeholders at social, political, and educational levels to collectively and institutionally work as "leaders for just peace" in securing the world's future. The Forum will particularly focus on conflict prevention, exploring mediation and reconciliation policies, as well as emphasizing the education and specialized training of youth in a range of knowledge and skills for cultivating and practicing a culture of just peace within their societies.

Through the presence of various world leaders and decision-makers, both official and grassroots, in the forum, the foundation aims to transform the culture of peace into a tangible scientific reality. The goal is to identify genuine solutions for current challenges that necessitate the intervention of thought and culture to prevent further dominance of the power of war over other aspects of life. Consequently, it has become imperative for cultural efforts to rise to the occasion and fulfill their developmental and awareness-raising roles.
