Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain receives the Ambassadors of Tunisia and Malta to Kuwait.

In line with the esteemed tradition of poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain hosting distinguished guests including ambassadors and prominent figures, he welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Kuwait, Hashmi Ajili, in his office. The meeting was attended by the Director-General of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, Dr. Touhami Abdouli. This gathering took place on Sunday, January 24th, 2021.
His Excellency Ambassador Hashmi Ajili conveyed greetings from His Excellency President Qais Saied, the President of the Tunisian Republic, to poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception.
During the meeting, discussions revolved around ways to support and enhance the partnership between the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation and the Tunisian Republic across various fields, aiming to strengthen culture and heritage. Moreover, ongoing preparations for organizing the Abi Al-Qasim Al-Shabi Arab Poetry Awards ceremony and the World Forum for the Culture of Peace in the Republic of Malta were also addressed.
Following the initial meeting, poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain received His Excellency Ambassador Raymond Sarsiero of the Republic of Malta to the State of Kuwait. Ambassador Sarsiero conveyed greetings from His Excellency President George Vella, the President of the friendly Republic of Malta. The conversation between them encompassed various topics centered around the significance of culture, history, and heritage. They also emphasized the importance of cultural dialogue that unites peoples. Culture acts as a bridge connecting individuals, even across great distances.
The meeting also revolved around the hosting of the second edition of the World Forum for the Culture of Peace in the Republic of Malta. The forum is planned to take place this year under the auspices and attendance of His Excellency President George Vella.
During both meetings, poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain discussed his cultural journey, which he has dedicated to promoting just peace among peoples in recent years. He highlighted the activities carried out through the Foundation to disseminate the culture of just peace at the highest levels. He mentioned his address at the United Nations, where he proposed the teaching of the curriculum of just peace worldwide—a proposal that was approved by the United Nations General Assembly. Albabtain also emphasized the importance of these meetings in bridging understanding between cultures across the world.
