Albabtain Foundation organizes a virtual seminar on the topic of "Solidarity in the Context of COVID-19: A Fundamental Value in Confronting the Pandemic."

Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation is organizing a virtual seminar titled "Solidarity in the Context of COVID-19: A Fundamental Value in Confronting the Pandemic." The seminar is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 24th, at 12:00 PM Kuwait time (GMT+2 Europe Time) and will be held on the website www.worldfcp.org.
Participants from various Arab and foreign countries, holding important positions in governments, international organizations, and civil society institutions, will discuss the efforts of solidarity through their countries' experiences, organizations, and institutions in facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
The selected participants for this seminar come from ten countries, including Kuwait, Tunisia, Palestine, Portugal, Malta, Albania, England, Italy, Kosovo, India, in addition to representatives from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Peace Institute (IPI) in New York, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the Observer Research Foundation in India.
The participants are:
1. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain: Chairman of Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, who will deliver the opening speech.
2. His Excellency Jorge Sampaio: Former President of Portugal.
3. His Excellency Michael Frendo: Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta.
4. His Excellency Lotfi Zitoun: Former Minister of Local Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia.
5. Her Excellency Ambassador Helga Mizzi: Coordinator of Maltese Presidential Affairs.
6. Her Excellency Haris Fongli: Adviser to the President of Albania.
7. Samir Hadadine: Head of Kuwait Office for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
8. Colonel Myszka Guskowska: Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
9. Dr. Nabil Ayyad: Director of Diplomatic Programs at the University of Glasgow.
10. Yahya Al-Ulaibi: Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mission to India, Nepal, Maldives, and Bhutan.
11. Najeeb Al-Frijy: International Peace Institute - Middle East and North Africa.
12. Dr. Luigi Moccia: President of the Altiero Spinelli Center of Excellence in Italy.
13. Amir Abreshi: Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.
14. Dr. Samir Saran: President of the Observer Research Foundation in India, who will deliver the closing speech.
The seminar will be moderated by Dr. Touhami Abdouli, the-then Director-General of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation.
