Albabtain Academy for Arabic Poetry celebrated the graduation of students from the second season of the Diploma in Poetic Creativity.

Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the World Academy of Poetry in Verona, Italy, concluded the second season of the "Poetic Creativity Diploma" program. The graduation certificates were distributed yesterday, April 28, 2019, at Albabtain Central Library for Arab Poetry.
The diploma program consisted of two levels: the first from October 3, 2018, to January 5, 2019, and the second level from January 20, 2019, to April 24, 2019. Both levels included diverse lessons on the rules of classical Arabic poetry and Arabic language sciences, taught according to specialized curricula provided by the academy.
A total of 32 male and female students from various nationalities graduated from the program. At the end of the first level, the Academy conducted a written test to determine the successful students eligible to proceed to the second level and assess the experiences of those enrolled in the Poetic Creativity Diploma. The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by Dr. Sultan Al Hariri, Dr. Abdullah Ghalees, Dr. Abdulmaqsoud Mohammed Al Khawli, and the Academy's director, Manaf Al Kafri. During the event, they expressed their gratitude for the significant role played by the Chairman of the Foundation, the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, in supporting poets and enabling them to excel in poetry through academic lessons.
The Poetic Creativity Diploma focuses on teaching the rules of classical Arabic poetry and Arabic language sciences, including prosody, rhyme, rhetoric, grammar, spelling, the jurisprudence of the Arabic language, poetic text analysis, literary criticism, and the art of reciting poetry. Throughout this season, the Academy also published two books: "A Book on Prosody and Rhyme" by Dr. Abdullah Ghalees and "Lectures on Poetic Text Analysis and Criticism" by Dr. Sultan Al Hariri. It's worth mentioning that the diploma is entirely free, open to all interested individuals from different nationalities.
