Registration for the second season of the "Poetic Creativity Diploma" in collaboration with the World Academy of Poetry in Italy has begun.

         Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Academy of Arabic Poetry has announced the opening of registration for the second season of its Diploma in Poetic Creativity program, in collaboration with the International Academy of Poetry in Verona, Italy. The program is offered free of charge to those interested in learning the science of Arabic prosody, poetry, Arabic grammar, and literary criticism.

The curriculum is divided into two levels:

         The first level runs from October 3, 2018, to January 2, 2019, and the second level runs from January 16, 2019, to April 28, 2019. The two levels comprise 106 study hours, covering the following subjects: prosody and rhyme, grammar and morphology, rhetoric, literary criticism and analysis of poetic texts, language jurisprudence, spelling, and the art of public speaking.

         The lessons are given in the lecture hall of Albabtain Central Library for Arabic Poetry. Registration is free of charge and can be done by contacting the Foundation’s phones or through the electronic link on the Albabtain Foundation's website.         Under the guidance of the Foundation’s Chairman, the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, the Academy is holding its new program this season for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for foreign diplomatic missions residing in Kuwait. The program is divided into two levels: the first level runs from October 6 to December 13, 2018, and the second level runs from January 12 to April 6, 2019. The lessons are held in the lecture hall of Albabtain Central Library for Arabic Poetry on Mondays and Tuesdays weekly throughout the two levels, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.         The Foundation held these lessons in the previous year, where more than one hundred diplomats from thirty foreign embassies registered, and the lessons achieved significant success within its noble cultural objectives.
