Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation concludes the Arab Poetry Spring Festival with a literary seminar and a poetry evening.

The tenth edition of the Arab Poetry Spring Festival, organized by the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation, concluded its activities yesterday evening. The festival took place from the 26th to the 28th of March, under the gracious patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and with the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information, Mohamed Abdulah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. The festival's events were held on the stage of Albabtain Central Library for Arab Poetry.
The final day featured a seminar about the Jordanian poet Mustafa Wahbi Al-Tel (Arar). The seminar was presented by Dr. Tareq Marioud Al-Tel from Jordan and Dr. Abdullah Ghlais from Kuwait. They discussed various aspects of the late poet's life and art, an occasion to commemorate his contributions, along with the Kuwaiti poet Ya'qoub Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed. The seminar was moderated by Dr. Suad Abdulwahab. The speakers covered both personal and artistic dimensions of the rich poetic journey undertaken by the late Moustafa Wahbi Al-Tel.
Furthermore, a concluding poetry evening took place yesterday, featuring performances by poets from various regions. The participating poets included: Salem Al-Rumaidhi and Ali Mubarak Al-Azmi from Kuwait, Maha Al-Otaibi from Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Wughlani from Tunisia, Maysoun Abu Bakr and Jafar Hajawi from Jordan, as well as Dr. Abdulmajeed Falah from Syria.
