Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation and Suez Canal University witness the graduation ceremony of the new batch of students from the courses in Prosody (ʿArūḍ) and Poetic Appreciation.

         In collaboration with "Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation," Suez Canal University, under the patronage of Prof. Mamdouh Ghurab - President of Suez Canal University, and Prof. Adel El Saadani - Dean of the Faculty of Arts, is hosting a grand celebration at the university's theater in the Faculty of Arts. The event commemorates the graduation of two new batches of students who completed the courses "Prosody and Poetry Appreciation" and "Language and Grammar Skills," which were held during the academic year 2015-2016.

         The ceremony will take place on May 9, 2017, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of Arab literature professors, intellectuals, and media figures. It's worth noting that the foundation conducts these courses at several prominent universities across the Arab world, driven by its belief in the importance of the Arabic language as a matter of existence and the necessity to nurture talents in various Arab and Islamic countries. So far, a total of 464 free training courses have been organized, with approximately 28,000 graduates. The first batch of the course at the university comprised 290 trainees, and the second batch had 220 trainees from various backgrounds, including students, researchers, scholars from Al-Azhar and the Church, as well as doctors, engineers, and others.

         The courses were taught by a distinguished group of literary critics, including Prof. Abdulrahim Al-Kurdi, Prof. Hassan Youssef, and Prof. Salah Eid. The supervision of both courses was carried out by Prof. Ahmed Aween.
