Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation has announced its intention to make Kuwait a center for its poetry sessions and conferences, while continuing to hold its intercultural dialogue programs outside the Arab world.
Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, the Chairman of the Foundation, stated in a press statement that the poetry sessions will be held annually in Kuwait after the Foundation has completed its rounds in various parts of the Arab world.
Furthermore, Albabtain stated that the Foundation will continue to honor Arab poets from Kuwait, and their names will be announced as usual for its sessions, which will now be launched from Kuwait as a poetic center. Alongside these sessions, there will be academic courses on poetry, courses on prosody and the Arabic language, and other related activities aimed at enhancing the position of Arab poetry. Writers, academics, poets, critics, and journalists from various Arab countries will be invited to participate in these events in Kuwait.
Additionally, Albabtain clarified that starting from the upcoming month of November, the Foundation will organize global cultural days dedicated to Asian, African, European, and American cultures in Kuwait. The aim of these events is to build bridges with these cultures. Diplomatic missions representing these cultures will also participate in this festival. Albabtain emphasized that this step aligns with the cultural openness that should be approached consciously within an institutional framework, showcasing the authentic and genuine aspects of these cultures.
