Poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain is scheduled to deliver a speech before the United Nations General Assembly on the 7th of September. During his address, Albabtain is expected to present a project on fostering a culture of peace for future generations. Further details about this project will be revealed during the speech.

The Chairman of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation received an invitation to deliver two speeches, one before the United Nations General Assembly and the other at the International Peace Institute (IPI) based in New York. The invitation was extended by the President of the Institute, Terry Rod Larsen, for an event titled "Developing a Culture of Peace," organized jointly by the Albabtain Cultural Foundation. This event will be held alongside the high-level United Nations Forum on Culture of Peace.

Albabtain is notably the first Arab figure to deliver the keynote speech at such an occasion. Following this, he will move to the United Nations General Assembly to deliver his speech and present his peace project.

The opening speech will be delivered by the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Peter Thomson. The seminar will be attended by high-level representatives of member states, ambassadors to the United Nations, senior officials from the Secretariat, as well as representatives from academic, civil society, and private sectors.

The event aims to provide contributions to the high-level forum by utilizing the announcement of a program of action regarding the culture of peace. The event works towards exploring the connections between culture, peace, security, and development.
