In recognition of his charitable and cultural efforts and his leadership in promoting peace programs worldwide, Yerevan State University in Armenia awards the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain an honorary doctorate.

According to the official website of Yerevan State University (YSU) and the decision to award this prestigious degree, which is given to individuals who have made a significant impact in life, issued by the University's Academic Council, it was based on Article 49, Section 7 of the University's Charter. The decision was made in accordance with Article 7 of the Council's regulations, and in consideration of the provisions of the Regulations for Honorary Titles and Awards. The University's Academic Council decided to award the honorary doctorate to poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain in recognition of his charitable work, efforts in promoting global peace, and his active role in collaborating with the university and supporting its professional activities.

Poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain expressed on this occasion that the honor bestowed upon him by Yerevan State University is not just a certificate, but rather a significant message with a noble purpose. A message that aims to encourage everyone to utilize their intellectual and financial capabilities, or a portion of them, to bring happiness to humanity and enhance human values. He emphasized the importance of doubling efforts and thoughts to harness each individual's abilities and potential in the service of charitable and humanitarian work, as well as in the realms of education and culture.

Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to Yerevan State University, including its president, academic council, professors, administration, and students, for granting him an honorary doctoral degree. He also conveyed his happiness at seeing his efforts in supporting culture, humanitarian work, and charitable endeavors being recognized by various cultural institutions and renowned universities worldwide.

It's worth noting that this is the 17th honorary doctoral degree bestowed upon the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain by both Arab and foreign universities.

It's also worth mentioning that Yerevan State University (YSU) is among the oldest universities in the Republic of Armenia, founded in the year 1919.

Among the notable recipients of honorary doctorates from this prestigious university are Russian President Vladimir Putin, former Finnish President Tarja Halonen, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and Valdas Adamkus, the former President of Lithuania.
