He began his professional career by managing credit department at Kuwait National Bank between 1986-1987.

He started to work at the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain & Sons Group of companies in 1987 and progressed in his work until assuming the position of Vice President of the Group since 1991.

He has been involved in leading numerous prominent economic entities and institutions, assuming their presidency and membership on their boards of directors, including:

Chairman of the Board of First Petroleum Company from December 2004 to April 2010.

Board member of Kuwait Finance House from March 1998 to March 2014.

Board member of Boubyan Petrochemicals Company since May 2000.

Board member of Morabahat Investment Company since 2013.

He has made significant contributions to public service and has participated in the management of several prestigious cultural institutions, including:
