FCP signed a seven and a half year lease for 5,858 square feet to house 25 current employees with the potential for five to seven new employees to be hired over the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we remain strongly invested in Washington, DC, we had the opportunity to move our offices to a location that offered visibility, excellent access to all of our Washington area submarkets and a wonderful array of amenities for our employees at a Metro location,\u201d said FCP Vice President and Controller, Garland Faist. Mr. Faist continued, \u201cWe credit Montgomery County and the State of Maryland for creating an economically attractive environment for businesses like ours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFCP has contributed to our community by investing in multi-family real estate for many years,\u201d said Montgomery County Executive Isiah (Ike) Leggett. \u201cWe are delighted that FCP chose to move its headquarters to Chevy Chase. This move strengthens a burgeoning real estate and finance cluster in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Corridor.
